LB/FB Joshua Curving is one of the upcoming players in Northern New Jersey. Curving has been referred to NFL and Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears. Curving is definitely an impact player on both sides of the ball.
On film he’s an explosive player who makes plays all over the field, moves easily in space, shows safety-type hips, and is an aggressive downhill tackler. Joshua always pursues the action hard and takes great angles to the ball.
# 28 is also a good backside defender who never lets up. The scouts love his length, strong hands, and quick feet. Curving knows how to create havoc in the backfield and does it on a consistent basis. I can see JC playing both DE and OLB on the next level. This young man from West Milford, New Jersey is making a name for himself on the young PCTI team in Wayne.
The inside scoop about Joshua is that he closes like no one’s business and can hit like of ton of bricks. The 5’10 and 215 pounder is a leader both on and off the field, shows good length and movement skills. An intense player and aggressive ballplayer with a high motor.
The 0-2 Bulldogs will travel Friday night to Ridgewood (1-1) to defend the triple-option offense which gave Passaic Tech a nightmare in the past. Curving and company must stuff the run and stay discipline in their gaps if they want to come away with a win. One things for sure there will be one Bulldog that will be up for the challenge and his name is Joshua Curving.
