RB Colin Ogarro is one of those kids that had to work for everything he gets. The 5’6 135 lbs. RB out of the Westchester area, New York has been referred to Ezekiel Elliot of the Dallas Cowboys. Colin is a physical back and he is always a tough tackle in the trenches.
Ogarro is a playmaker who can catch the ball out of the backfield showing explosives moves on the perimeter. Colin a dynamic runner between the tackles, he keeps his pads low, has good body lean, and does a great job finishing off his runs.
4.0 Sports Media caught up with Colin after their 20-12 lost against Somers in the Taconic championships. “This was a close game and we really played hard but came up short. I didn’t want to end my season this way but I left it all on the field and gave all I had to my team today.” Ogarro said.
Although Colin is a special athlete on the field he is also very impressive as a student-athlete. He is an honor roll student in the classroom. This student-athlete and Albert Leonard Middle school player wants to work hard because he wants football to pay for his education.
Colin is very strong in the legs with a legit stiff arm, he is known for getting extra yards after initial contact. CO1 is a complete back who can run, catch, and block. Ogarro is dependable between the tackles; he also has the burst, body control, and pure speed to cut it outside for long gainers. Even though his New Rochelle Elite team lost but the Somers’ team had a hard time keeping Colin out of the endzone .
